Forge is the order system. A clinician orders anything for a patient (a drug, a procedure, a lab test, a scan, a cross-consult, a form), and Forge carries that one intent through fulfillment, scheduling, billing, external routing, and results.
Key capabilities
- Order anythingOne order surface for medications, investigations, procedures, scans, consults, and forms.
- Context-aware fieldsSet priority (STAT / urgent / routine), frequency, route, dose, and duration; investigations pull from a standardised list and support panels.
- PRN with guardsPRN medications define indication, minimum interval, and maximum daily dose, with a one-tap administration record.
- One intent, many destinationsOnce signed, an order reaches nursing and pharmacy, schedules what needs scheduling, raises the charge, routes externally where needed, and returns the result to the timeline.
- Nothing disappearsEvery administration is timestamped onto the record; discontinued orders stay visible for handover and medico-legal review.
