Incoming and outgoing data resolves to a governed reference layer, so the same investigation is not three different strings in three systems.
Investigations resolve to LOINC and diagnoses to ICD-11 and SNOMED CT. A term arriving from an analyser, a laboratory system or a registry lands as one code with the correct reference range and specimen type, rather than as free text that only its own system understands.
Westron is where those mappings are configured and watched. It is the console for every connection Pensieve holds to an external system, so the mapping lives next to the feed it applies to.
