Open source
Interface libraries, published for anyone to build on.
Pensieve publishes two React libraries under open licences: opsinjs for patient-facing health apps, and Clawscale for data-dense professional software.
opsinjs
A design system for patient-facing health apps
opsinjs is for the screen where somebody who is not a clinician reads their own blood pressure, HbA1c or symptom log and decides what, if anything, to do next. Its components include a body map, a dose tracker, a result card, a range bar, a symptom picker and a consent sheet.
How it installs
Components install as source through the shadcn CLI, so a team owns the code it copies. It needs React 19 and Tailwind CSS v4. The code is MIT licensed and the documentation is published under CC BY 4.0.
Where it stands
Every component in the catalogue installs today. Its WCAG 2.2 AA audit was run by its own authors, and no component has had an independent accessibility or clinical review yet, which each component page states.
Clawscale
A UI system for data-dense software
Clawscale keeps Blueprint’s components, APIs and principles, and gives them a refined look. It is built for dashboards, consoles and tools where a screen holds a lot of data.
How it installs
It installs from npm as @clawscale/react, supports React 18 and 19, and is licensed under Apache 2.0.
Why Pensieve publishes them
These libraries are interface work Pensieve can share without sharing a patient record. The support Pensieve gives open-source maintainers runs through Pensieve Expanse.
