Pensieve Orion is the research and development programme of Pensieve in vertical farming. It works on sealed farms that grow staple crops at density, under light, water and air the farm itself controls. Its own site opens soon.

Agronomy comes first
Soil chemistry, light budgets and harvest indices are worked out on Earth, in a farm that has to feed people before it proves anything else.
The longer aim is a field that can be opened wherever people need to live, including places where soil and climate cannot be relied on at all.
